Amazon Kindle new DX is designed to solidify the lead company in the market of electronic book reader. The new model is poised to revive the initial success of the company and gains on their original drive models. With this, the only way for competitors to Amazon to make an attack KindleDX the reader is eagerly awaited to advance the features of their ebook reader's.
PlasticLogic recently introduced its large-screen e-Reader in the DEMO technology conference, seems to be the model plan of attack is strategically based on design flaws Amazon Kindle. In hand, the Plastic Logic Reader has a search more streamlined and technologically advanced technological ebook display. Although not yet PlasticLogic press their drive model in early 2010, he has already won the support of some key institutions such as Pearson PLC (PSO) Financial Times Barnes & Noble Inc. When it comes to operating systems, Kindle is based on Linux, while PlasticLogic WinCE is supported. Kindle takes its lead with its built-in web browsing and free internet via function WhisperNet. Plastic Logic has not yet disclosed details of its web browsing function.

Although the Amazon Kindle uses E-Ink technology in its display readers, Plastic Logic is using its own display technology ownership, which gave its readers a non-glass, unbreakable and flexible feature electronic book reader display. Amazon Kindle DX is required to be released in time for summer 2009 while PlasticLogic must still be released early next year. Clearly, Amazon KindleDX has some clear advantages. While consumers can now preorder at Amazon.com DX Kindle, Plastic Logic Reader is still in production. With advanced features, including PlasticLogic drive, its cost should be higher than DX Kindle costs $ 489. In addition, Amazon WhisperNet complimentary wireless Internet is a huge advantage. At this stage, Plastic Logic Reader offers a challenge to the existing features of Kindle DX. However, Amazon KindleDX be sure to give him a hard time maintaining with the dynamics of success established by its previous successes of Amazon, with its original designs ebook reader.
