Why do musicians use two keyboards?
Why are some musicians use two keyboards at once? I often notice two synthesizers stacked on each other.
Keyboardists often use two keyboards, and sometimes more (my current studio setup is 
for several reasons. First place, the capabilities of synthesizers differ so much that it often takes more than a keyboard to get every sound you need. Another reason is that if you need to switch sounds in the middle of a song, it can sometimes be too awkward to do on a keyboard. But two, you can simply switch keyboards seamlessly.
