shure microphones
Is a preamp and / or mixer necessary with Shure SM58 microphone?
Hello people, I think to get the Shure SM58 to be used for podcasting, which is connected to my sound card (Creative Labs X-Fi Platinum). Do I need to buy a preamp as well, or is it something that I can achieve with a separate mixer? I'm confused. Any recommendations? Thank you
