What do you think of this bass?

As yet I had a bass and strings amazon.co.uk where about half an inch of the handle and it was difficult to play. I never knew so many things on bass. I wonder can help. I do not care what color he is. PS: If you know any better about £ 99 – £ 150 let me know please and that someone knows where you can set the strings so they can be closer to the Council fret if you know what I mean.
