Java MP3 Player?
Hi guys, well I am a newbie in java and I just started to program, in fact after PHP JAVA, C + + after i two months, have proposed to give my final year in college and I decided to build a JAVA MP3 Player, i know its kinda tough but I need your guys help, I want to do my own JAVA MP3 player, I do not use any ready-made library or anything, just the default class Java .. Can you please guide me where to start and how it will continue? I heard someone say that MP3 files are encoded using Huffman algorithm, then Java learned to do that and spend more on sound card? this is so? Please help me or guide me to the relevant resources .. thank you for your help and your time:)
A good place to start looking I think the API could be javax.sound.sampled. It resembles May it be a learning curve associated with it though. After that, you would probably get the filename of the user, read and do pass through a filter encoding pass the stream to the API.
